Hi, I’m Margarida.
I am a designer and illustrator, currently living in Lisbon. I’ve always been fascinated by the power of storytelling through new platforms of visual expression.
This interest in art and design is fundamental to my practice, as I continue to explore the possibilities of communication and the limits of my imagination.
Portal Viva App and Website
EDIT, Disruptive Digital Education, 2019
―This collaborative project was developed as part of the UX/UI Design course by Edit Disruptive Digital Education, in 2019. We were assigned to rethink the transportation system used in Portal Viva, and to develop three major digital deliverables: a mobile app, and a desktop website and a resposive mobile website.
To understand the characteristics of each item, we conducted a deep user-centered research to identify new problems and user needs, and to create a rich and satisfying new user experience for the user. Our complete scope of work included: benchmark and user-centered research; heuristic evaluation; analysis of questionnaires and interviews; definition of personas and affinity maps; identification of user needs and user journeys; wireframing and prototyping; design of digital interfaces and experiences; development of motion graphics, icons, and digital illustration.

ARC Corporate Book
ARC International Design Consultants, 2020
―Editorial design for the 2020 Edition of ARC International Design Consultants, a Lisbon based architectural firm specialized in Healthcare Facilities.
Divided into three chapters (Organization and Experience, Knowledge, and Selected Projects), the book features a careful selection of ARC's best work through the years and a collection of 12 essays from our team of experts. This object is the result of a collaborative work, showcasing the company's history, values, and identity. The book was printed on Sirio Color Black 380 gr paper, with silver stamping for the cover.
Special thanks to Ocyan for helping us with the printing process. ARC's Corporate Book was distributed at last year's edition of Arab Health Exhibition in Dubai.
